Dr. Jacinto W. Beard, DDS
Dr. Jacinto Beard is a general practice dentist and owner of three offices in the Columbus community. As such, he takes tremendous pride in his over 20 years of service to the Central Ohio communities. In this position he enjoys providing dental services to private pay, traditional insurance and Medicaid patients. Dr. Beard received his B.S. in Biology from Gannon University, located in his hometown of Erie, PA. Upon graduation he matriculated to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1990 and met Dr. Karen Stansberry-Beard, his wife of over 20 years. Prior to opening his first private practice in the Columbus Northland community in 1993, Dr. Beard served as the dental director of Primary Health Care in Erie, PA, and he provided services to the Ohio Department of Corrections as a contracted dental provider.
Dr. David L. Beard, DDS
Originally from Columbus Ohio, David graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Microbiology. Upon graduation, he then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York, NY where he graduated in 2017 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, David completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, before moving back to Ohio with his wife Dr. Lynda Villagomez Beard.
Dr. Matthew M. Beard, DDS
Originally from Columbus Ohio, Dr. Matthew Graduated from The Ohio State University in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology. Upon graduation, he attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN where he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2025. Matthew worked as a dentist in Nashville for a little over a year following graduation, serving a predominantly Hispanic community before moving back to Ohio with his wife Kayla Robinson.
Dr. Khlea M. Sumani, DMD
Dr. Sumani is a dental and forensic expert from Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Sumani earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital. She furthered her education with a Forensic Dentistry Fellowship at Lincoln Memorial University. Dr. Sumani's professional trajectory encompasses significant roles in both clinical and forensic settings. Her forensic expertise is further exemplified by her roles as a Forensic Dental Consultant at the Franklin County Forensic Science Center
Carmen Burrus, RDH
Carmen enrolled full-time into Youngstown State University where she received her dental hygiene degree. Her caring and gentle, yet thorough practice are key ingredients in helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal gingival health. Carmen is continuing her pursuit of a Masters of Public Health with intention of one day using her considerable experience and skills to teach dental hygiene. In her free time she enjoys shopping, cooking, and spending time with her precious canine companion, Bella.
Elisabeth Beard, RDH
Dr. Jacinto Beard’s only daughter Elisabeth followed in the family’s footsteps by pursing dentistry. After Completing her education at The Ohio State University with a BA in Psychology, Elisabeth attended Tennessee State University and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She returned home to continue working with family.
