About Commerce Park Dental

Honoring a Legacy of Trusted Family Dentistry

For years, Dr. Larry DeVese served families in the Westerville community with impeccable skill, compassion, and a deep commitment to lifelong oral health. He believed in evidence-based preventive care, patient education, and providing health care information for each patient to make informed decisions about their dental needs. His warm approach, especially with children, helped generations of patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Dr. DeVese's legacy is also personal to our family. He and Dr. Jacinto Beard became close friends while in dental school at The Ohio State University. Their friendship and mutual respect they shared endured throughout Dr. DeVese's life. Dr. Beard and Beard family dental providers continue to honor that legacy while guiding the practice into its next chapter.

The Next Chapter: Commerce Park Dental

Today, the practice continues as Commerce Park Dental, led by Dr. Jacinto Beard and his sons, Dr. David Beard and Dr. Matthew Beard. Together, they are honored to carry forward Dr. DeVese's patient-first approach while bringing the perspective and experience of a new generation of dentists.

While the name and doctors are changing, the qualities patients value most remain:

  • The same familiar team

  • The same convenient location

  • The same welcoming, family-focused environment

  • The same commitment to thoughtful, preventive dental care

Patients can expect continuity, kindness, and honest guidance - along with access to modern treatment options tailored to their individual needs.

Continuing to Care for Westerville Families

At Commerce Park Dental, we want every patient to feel informed, respected, and at ease. We welcome children, adults, and families seeking a dental home where relationships matter and care is never one-size-fits-all.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. DeVese, his family, and the patients who placed their trust in him over the years. It is our privilege to honor his legacy by caring for established patients with the same warmth they have come to know - and by welcoming new patients into the Commerce Park Dental family.

The legacy continues. The familiar care remains. A new chapter begins.
